Aloha all. Thanks for stopping by.
We really enjoy telling our story to the public and showing you how we process coffee.
If you are interested in coffee, how it's grown, how it's processed and then learning all about drinking coffee, Hilo Coffee Mill is the place to visit.
We are located in beautiful, historic Mountain View, on Highway 11, midway between Hilo and Hawai`i Volcanoes National Park.
Hilo Coffee Mill is brewing up a renaissance of East Hawai`i coffees grown in the lush and fertile rainforest climates of Puna, Hamakua and Ka`u, Hawaii's finest coffee growing areas.
Coffee was prolific in East Hawai`i in the late 1800's and early 1900’s, only to be replaced by the more profitable sugar crop. With the recent decline of sugar in Hawai`i, coffee is making a huge comeback and you can taste the Aloha in every sip!
It is our passion for Hawaiian coffee that leads us to share our knowledge with you, the coffee enthusiast.
Nowhere else in Hawai`i will you find the diversity of coffee from all around the state. We pride ourselves on supporting small family farms from Kaua`i, Oahu, Maui, Moloka`i, and Hawai`i Island. Sample the difference when you come for a tour.
If you are interested in an organized tour, please call ahead to make sure we have someone dedicated to show you around. We have a small fee for organized tours of 6 or more but we promise to make it worth every penny.
Would you like to learn more about tea? We can accommodate your group with an educational tea sampling too.
We try hard to customize your tour to fit your needs. Let us know what you’d like to get out of your tour and we’ll do our best!
We thank you and so do the farmer’s that we support.
